High roller

So we were on a road trip to see my family and we decided to stop at one of those “scenic view” rest stops to let the boy crawl around on the grass (which sounds a lot like what people do with their pets). My wife breastfed him in the front seat and, for the first time, he noticed the fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror. And the rest, as they say, is history.(Thankfully. he has never repeated his first word.)

The dice are actually leopard print, and I bought them to make my wife laugh. See, we have a green Ford F0cus hatchback – not really the vehicle for such an accoutrement. It was meant as a one-time gag, but they’ve ridiculously hung there ever since.
